Privacy Policy

Stranded processes information needed to operate roadside bookings, protect users, meet legal obligations and improve reliability. This notice must be approved with the operating company details before public launch.

How data is used

Data is used to create accounts, identify the vehicle, match and route providers, estimate arrival, take payment, send service notifications, verify providers, prevent fraud, resolve disputes and respond to safety reports. We do not sell personal data.

Service providers and international transfers

Depending on enabled features, data may be processed by Cloudflare, Stripe, DVLA, Mapbox, Resend, Twilio and OneSignal. The operating company must document the final processors, contracts and transfer safeguards before launch.

Retention and your rights

Account/profile and uploaded documents are removed or anonymised through the in-app delete action. Payment, dispute, fraud and safety records may be retained where required by law or to establish or defend legal claims. Users may request access, correction, restriction, objection, portability or erasure through support and may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.

Location and identity

Customer location is used for the booking. An assigned provider’s journey position is shared only with authorised participants in that job. Identity results and documents are restricted to authorised review. The final launch must define exact retention periods in a data-retention schedule and DPIA.
